Our Story
Our legacy started in 1991 with the construction of caisson piles and slope stabilization works for numerous projects in Genting Highlands back when it was expanding and developing to be one of Asia’s most prominent entertainment hubs. The founders, Mr Ng Kin Weng, Mr Ng Yoke Foo, and Mr How Pooi Han, came together collectively as a lean yet robust team sharing their respective civil and geotechnical areas of expertise to continuously provide options to cater for the various needs of our clientele. Over the course of time to date we have always taken pride in the safety as well as welfare of our workforce and quality of our finished work, whatever it took or cost may be. Hence, the name of our company Serrig, derived from the Chinese characters of 实力 which simply means “strength”, is the core asset instilled into everyone throughout our organization in giving our utmost best when executing our respective roles and responsibilities in delivering high-quality projects to our clients all while exercising deep humility and tight teamwork throughout the process.
